Somewhere In Between
Recently the LinkedIn algorithm has mostly filled my timeline with incredibly pro-AI posts of people shouting about how much AI they’re using to build their AI tools for their AI-first companies and everyone else is a loser.
Today, for some reason, the algorithm has decided to fill my timeline with all people saying how bad their job is with enforced LLM usage and how they feel like confused slop herders who aren’t allowed to understand their own code these days.
It’s almost like the truth is somewhere in between.
What I’d really like is a timeline that had very little AI stuff in it at all. I mean sure it’s now inevitably a part of what we all do, but there are sure other parts as well, and people thinking about those other parts.
